In the time entry section, you will be able to track your transactions either on a ‘Time Entry Grid View’ Or on a ‘Time Entry Calendar View’.
The Time Entry Grid View:
The second option to track time will be using the 'Start Timer' Icon:
Once your transactions are Saved/Finalized – they will show on the Time entry grid view, allowing you to choose from the 'Actions' Icon what to do with those transactions.
The Time Entry Grid View:
- This screen offers a date selection (upper left corner), allowing you to choose the date you are creating the transactions for – either prior, current or a future date.
- To create your time entry transaction, you could choose one of the following options: Use the ‘New Time Entry’ or ‘Start Timer’.
- ‘New Time Entry’ – allows you to create a time entry where you could manually type in the number of hours worked.
The second option to track time will be using the 'Start Timer' Icon:
- ‘Start Timer’ - will allow you to Start, Pause and Finalize the timer to track the hours spent on that task. * Start Timer will only allow you to track time for the current/today's date* .
Once your transactions are Saved/Finalized – they will show on the Time entry grid view, allowing you to choose from the 'Actions' Icon what to do with those transactions.
- Actions Menu Icon:
- Copy Time
- Set WIP Status (Posting to WIP will allow you to bill them)
- Set Time Status (If it was already posted to WIP by setting it to Time status will allow you to modify the transaction)
- Change Employee
- Change Date
- Select All Entries
- Send Email
- Delete Entry
